Our Inspiration: Drivers
Our founders have been in the wiper blade business for over 25 years. Over the years, not much has changed. All new style wiper blades just increased confusion and increased prices with giving little additional value to drivers. We knew we had to create something with the driver in mind. Our journey began quite simply by reading thousands of online reviews from real customers of the largest internationally known branded wiper blades. Not to our surprise, ALL of these wiper blades were (and still are) very poorly reviewed. How poorly? In lots of cases, over 40% of the reviews from real drivers were either 1 STAR or 2 STARS! Yes, that means over 4-in-10 drivers were incredibly dissatisfied. Yuck!! That is an embarrassment and not something you hear on their national TV campaigns.
Making a Better Product
Our team immediately began to create a program that was truly better. We knew we had to create a product that would be extremely well reviewed by our customers. Reviews matter because they are a direct line to us on how we are performing and gives us insight to what we can improve on. Better yet, we love to see our great reviews and hear the stories of how Clix has made a small, yet large, improvement to their lives. To conquer this, our first step was to DRASTICALLY improve installing and replacing wiper blades. Another major goal of ours is to completely take away the headaches of buying and replacing your wiper blades. What style wiper blade do I need? What kind of wiper arm do I have? How do I get the old ones off? How the heck do I….. and the story goes on. No more! Drivers should simply know their vehicle and get what they need. It’s not that difficult. Time and Convenience
We kept asking ourselves, what is the quickest and best way to replace worn wiper blades? However, our mind set began to change more broadly and we started asking, “How do we take bad wiper blades off the road? Period!”
